We are looking for a Grocery Lead Hand to join our location in Lillooet, BC.

The successful candidate must have open availability to work a variety of shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive and professional experience by greeting and assisting every customer with inquiries and concerns.
  • Ensure the department is well-stocked and presented with the freshest products.
  • Verify and accurately price and label products.
  • Assist with communicating messages, training, and supervising team members.
  • Help maintain operational efficiency by motivating team members to increase sales, exceed budgets, and meet profit goals.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management including stock counts, ordering, receiving, and invoicing.
  • Clean equipment and workstation to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive shopping experience.
  • The ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Previous retail grocery experience is considered an asset.
