Role Overview

We are currently seeking a 
part-time Sales Representative
 to join our team on-site in Port Coquitlam, BC. This role involves working directly with customers in our showroom, assisting them in selecting the right flooring options, and ensuring a smooth sales and installation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in the showroom
  • Provide expert advice on flooring products including carpet, vinyl, tile, and hardwood
  • Guide customers through the product selection and purchasing process
  • Coordinate with the installation team to ensure timely and seamless project execution
  • Address customer concerns, including furniture management during installation
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of flooring trends and product offerings
  • Assist in organizing showroom displays and maintaining a clean, professional environment
  • Participate in sales promotions, events, and product training sessions
  • Use computer systems to support sales, inventory tracking, and customer communications

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and sales abilities
  • Solid knowledge of flooring products (carpet, vinyl, tile, hardwood)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational capabilities
  • Experience in retail sales or the flooring industry is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for sales and inventory management
