Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a background in swimming, with the ability to inspire and guide individuals of various skill levels. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on participants' development while fostering a safe and engaging environment.
Duties
- Plan and deliver effective coaching sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Teach swimming techniques, safety protocols, and water skills in a clear and encouraging manner
- Monitor participants' progress, providing constructive feedback and motivation
- Ensure all activities adhere to safety standards and promote a safe environment at all times
- Organize practice schedules, competitions, and special events as needed
- Maintain equipment, facilities, and supplies in good condition
- Foster a positive team atmosphere by promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect among participants
Requirements
- Proven experience in teaching or coaching, preferably with a focus on swimming
- Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and instruct effectively
- Knowledge of water safety standards and swimming techniques
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of individuals, including children and adults
- Certification in CPR/First Aid is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is expected
- Must be reliable, responsible, and committed to creating a supportive learning environment
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.20-$42.42 per hour
