Peninsula Co-op is inviting applications for the position of Customer Service Representative at our Front-End and Grocery Departments in our Food Centre located at 2132 Keating X Rd, Saanichton B.C. This is a part-time, year-round role providing hours each week. Our ideal candidate has flexible availability that must include weekdays and weekends.

• Always look for ways to be helpful and go out of their way to assist others; consistently polite.
• Good with numbers; handling cash and other basic numerical calculations quickly and accurately.
• Process till transactions, accurate and efficient; including cash, credit and debit transactions and gift card activations.
• Uses their product knowledge to assist customers and answer questions.
• Looks out for their safety and the safety of others.
• Values integrity and honesty; someone to admire and emulate.
• Able to be on their feet nearly all of their shift & consistently handling product (1 to 40 pounds).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Besides working with the best group of teammates and fantastic customers, you'll be processing till transactions, and generally ensuring our customers & members are taken care of, and the location is clean and safe.
