Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Fast Food Attendant to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in food preparation, cashiering, and customer interaction.

Duties

  • Prepare and assemble food items according to company standards, maintaining quality and safety protocols
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
  • Greet customers promptly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
  • Take orders accurately, upsell menu items, and handle transactions efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with food safety standards
  • Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
  • Assist with food delivery to tables or drive-thru windows as needed
  • Manage time effectively to serve customers quickly during busy periods
  • Follow all sanitation and safety guidelines to uphold health regulations

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, food service, or cashiering within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Proficiency with POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order entry and cash handling
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and giving correct change
  • Ability to upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales
  • Kitchen experience or restaurant background is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
