Responsibilities: - Assist with the revenue recognition process for all streams – perpetual, maintenance, subscription and services, and related processes such as cost of sales. Complete month-end procedures, such as general ledger closing and account reconciliations. -Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue in compliance with ASC 606 - Understand revenue recognition adjustments and perform SSP studies in accordance with ASC 606 as needed - Analyze and forecast monthly/quarterly performance of revenue, including recurring revenue metrics and cost of sales - Review customer contracts to ensure accurate and consistent application of revenue recognition policies in accordance with ASC 606 and document conclusions - Identify and implement process improvements, including automation of revenue recognition, deferred revenue schedules - Create and maintain a number of recurring reports for senior management including monthly and quarterly reporting -Work closely with other departments, such as sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure accurate revenue reporting and forecasting -Understand the inventory fulfillment process ensures that products are accurately tracked and delivered, which directly impacts invoicing by ensuring that customers are billed correctly for the items they receive. - Perform additional duties and special projects in other areas as requested to support the overall goals and objectives of the finance department. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree related to Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience - CPA or pursuing CPA - 1-3 years of related experience - Revenue recognition experience in a SaaS Company and working knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606 is an asset - Exceptional excel skills and ability to learn new systems (experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is an asset) - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solutions-oriented approach to challenges - Experience with building new system capabilities and process optimization - Self-starter with a strong level of ownership, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and great communication skills If you share our enthusiasm for the future of our company and are eager to contribute to our vibrant workplace, we look forward to receiving your application Our comprehensive benefits encompass your health, financial well-being, and overall wellness, and we are committed to providing an exceptional work environment, enriching employee programs, and fostering a remarkable company culture.
