Job summary: Proveta Nutrition Ltd., is seeking committed and reliable Feed Mill Operators, who will be responsible for day to day production tasks at our production facility in Bruno, Saskatchewan.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for loading and unloading products, preparing ingredients for mixing, packaging (bags and totes), order preparation, documentation of production and completion of HACCP records, general maintenance and housekeeping duties.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • Prior experience in a feed mill or agriculture is an asset, but not necessary. We believe that these skills can be acquired, but a positive and optimistic attitude are the traits we are looking for. The candidate must hold a good team spirit, be self-motivated with a willingness to learn and improve
  • Receive ingredients into the mill - both bulk and bagged for processing, measuring, and mixing raw materials
  • Bag complete feeds
  • Load complete feeds orders on to trucks
  • Operating and maintaining machines used for manufacturing feeds
  • Assure that the daily production schedule is completed
  • Keeping the work areas clean and organized
  • Ensure that company safety practices are adhered to
  • Work with employees to identify and addressing ingredient flow issues
  • Work with the team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required through a high school diploma or Able to follow and execute both written and verbal instructions
  • Candidates must have safe work practices, excellent work ethics, be reliable and able to work unsupervised. Must know how to drive a forklift and lift 25 kg weight repeatedly
  • Must be willing to work rotating shifts

Compensation:

  • Compensation will be determined based on experience.
  • Dental, Vision and extended health care are available after probation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
