Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks, and ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations while serving food items as needed.
  • Manage inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management as necessary.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.

Skills

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with familiarity in using Micros POS systems being a plus.
  • Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere for guests.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing accuracy.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations is essential.
