Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced
Data Project Manager
to lead and oversee large-scale data initiatives within a financial enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multimillion-dollar programs, strong stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience driving data modernization projects using cloud technologies like
Databricks, Azure, and Snowflake
.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex data programs and projects with budgets exceeding $5M.
  • Oversee financials, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with governance standards.
  • Manage change and release processes, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption.
  • Collaborate with executive stakeholders to provide regular updates, manage expectations, and drive decision-making.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams across business, IT, and data engineering to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Develop executive-level reports and dashboards for program progress, risks, and outcomes.
  • Support implementation of modern data platforms including
    Databricks, Azure Data Services, and Snowflake
    .
  • Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years
    of experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the
    data or financial domain
    .
  • Proven experience managing large, complex programs with budgets over
    $5M
    .
  • Strong expertise in
    executive reporting
    , stakeholder management, and cross-team coordination.
  • Hands-on experience in
    change management
    and
    release management
    .
  • Experience delivering projects leveraging
    Databricks
    ,
    Azure
    , and
    Snowflake
    .
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
