We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Studio Operations Lead to join our team full-time. This role blends the operational leadership of a team lead with the hands-on responsibilities of maintaining our studio spaces to Mint Room's high standard of presentation and care.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in beautiful, functional spaces, enjoys problem-solving in real time, and thrives in a creative, fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in keeping our studios camera-ready, organized, and running seamlessly day to day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily on-site studio operations, ensuring all rooms are camera-ready and meet Mint Room's presentation standards.
  • Oversee and support the studio attendant team, assisting with training, communication, and on-site coordination.
  • Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs to confirm resets, cleanliness, and decor alignment.
  • Handle email correspondence and calls related to client inquiries, bookings, and general studio operations.
  • Maintain backend systems, including booking holds, scheduling, invoicing, and updating client or member records as needed.
  • Support community initiatives, including member communications, social events, and internal engagement projects.
  • Handle light maintenance and repairs, such as paint touch-ups, decor adjustments, and minor fixes.
  • Manage studio resets, including furniture styling, prop placement, and setup transitions between bookings.
  • Monitor and report any damages, wear-and-tear, or missing inventory items.
  • Maintain and organize studio supplies, decor, and seasonal inventory.
  • Coordinate with the Studio Manager on operational updates, staffing needs, and ongoing improvements.
  • Provide ad hoc operational support, including preparing the studios for events, shoots, and other productions.

  • Proactive, reliable, and confident managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communicator, both in-person and over email.
  • Comfortable lifting and moving light-to-medium furniture and equipment.
  • Available for on-site, full-time work, including some weekends.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer service, hospitality/retail, or facilities management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Comfortable managing small teams and leading by example.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, , and Square is an asset.
  • Interest in photography, events, or creative spaces is a plus.
