Create Compounding Pharmacy is looking for an exceptional Pharmacy Assistant to join our growing team

We are a leading compounding pharmacy group that expanded into a new world class facility in Port Coquitlam. This position is for a Pharmacy Assistant that will work with the compounding pharmacists and technicians to produce high quality compounded products. Our facility is fully compliant with the NAPRA guidelines and offers sterile, non-sterile and hazardous compounding. Comprehensive training will be provided in detail for the successful applicant.

We are looking for the following qualities:

  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Kroll experience in retail pharmacy an asset

As a Pharmacy Assistant you will:

Lab Department

  • Compounding all types non-sterile and sterile (assisting) compounds - Including but not limited to creams, ointments, suspensions, solutions, injections, tablets, capsules, suppositories etc
  • Cleaning workstation between compounding products (including dishwasher)
  • Making sure all batched items are well stocked
  • Milling Creams - Process compounds coming into the lab
  • Assisting in processing compounds when needed to in Kroll
  • Assisting in preparing orders for delivery when needed
