Job Summary:

This position is responsible for supporting daily precast concrete production activities, including preparing molds, assisting with casting operations, and ensuring work areas and materials are ready each day.

Responsibilities will be as follows, but not limited to:

  • Can perform work independently when tasks and expectations are clearly outlined
  • Assist with the preparation, cleaning, and setup of molds and casting areas for daily production
  • Support concrete pouring operations including vibration, leveling, and finishing as required
  • Strip, clean, and prepare molds and forms after concrete has cured
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret basic drawings, instructions, and production specifications
  • Assist in moving materials, tools, and components throughout the plant
  • Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Capable of operating overhead cranes up to 25 TON (training provided if required)
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and other crew members to maintain efficient workflow

Job Requirements:

  • Self-starter who can work independently with clear direction and goals
  • Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily tasks
  • Must be able to move throughout the worksite and perform physically demanding activities
  • G-Class driver's license with a clean abstract is an asset
