JOB TITLE: Regional Coordinator
The Regional Coordinator supports the development of quality person-centered services and works alongside the Regional Manager and other Managers/Coordinators. This role oversees a combination of Community Inclusion employees, Staffed Home employees, and Home Share Providers, ensuring standards are met and quality services are provided.

REPORTS TO: Regional Manager

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement programs for individuals (Home Share, Community Inclusion, Respite, etc.).
  • Train and oversee managers in all aspects of program operations.
  • Assist in program training, staff development, and provide support and guidance to employees/managers/contractors.
  • Provide guidelines and directions regarding behavior interventions, restrictions, techniques, etc.
  • Assist employees, Coordinators, and Managers with supported people's health issues, including mental health and behavioral referrals.
  • Support and meet the needs of individuals, family members, and advocates.
  • Participate in developing the strategic direction for service delivery in the region.
  • Monitor individual programs and ensure regulatory guidelines and standards are met.
  • Maintain all personnel, payroll, and financial records as required.
  • Coordinate crisis response and assist with problem-solving.
  • Lead the implementation of ongoing risk management activities.
  • Partner with Human Resources on recruitment needs.
  • Manage and oversee regional occupational health and safety initiatives.
  • Lead and/or participate in additional committees or special projects.
  • Advise the Regional Manager and Human Resources Director on labour relations issues.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Associate's degree or post-secondary Certificate/Diploma in social services, health care, or a related field
  • At least two years of experience in a related field, preferably with some supervisory or leadership experience
  • Willingness to obtain a Criminal Records Search
  • Current first-aid and CPR certification
  • Class 4 driving license (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Work Environment and Expectations:
Office Presence: This role is based in our main office.
Travel Requirements: Regular travel is required to effectively engage with our teams and community partners. This includes periodic visits to various service locations to support and interact directly with staff and stakeholders.
