Job Description

The Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the practice office. This position will be responsible for assisting the Practice Manager with administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient files, answering phones, scheduling and confirming appointments, scheduling and confirming patient appointments, billing, insurance verification, patient communication with physicians, and other general office duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a group practice environment or healthcare setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·Maintain confidentiality of all patient records.

·Maintain confidentiality of all professional client information.

·Communicate regularly with patients regarding their care.

·Communicate regularly with physicians regarding patient care.

·Schedule and confirm appointments for physicians.

·Confirm appointment availability for physicians.

·Confirm that all necessary forms are complete and accurate for patients.

·Communicate frequently with Practice Manager regarding office operations procedures and patient care issues.

·Maintain office filing systems including electronic health records (EHR) systems.

·Maintain office supplies inventory.

·Manage incoming calls to the practice office including phone calls, emails, faxes, etc..

·Manage scheduling software programs including EMR software (including but not limited to) for practice management purposes.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
