We are currently looking for a Rental Consultant to join our rentals team at Driving Force Fleet Solutions in our Thunder Bay location.

What You'll Do:

  • Warmly greets customers and handles phone calls, emails, and queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional service throughout the rental process, from managing reservations, generating quotes for short-term rentals, to finalizing rental agreements, processing payments, and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain consistent communication with customers, ensuring they are well-informed about rental terms and conditions before requesting signatures on all relevant documents.
  • Conduct thorough walk-around inspections with customers, obtaining their authorization via signature.
  • Perform daily checks on the drop box, process rental returns, evaluate the vehicle's condition upon return, and offer recommendations for necessary maintenance if repairs are deemed necessary.
  • Ensure vehicle availability and prepare rental units for delivery, including driving, cleaning, and fueling vehicles as needed.

What You Bring:

  • 1 year's retail customer service experience is preferred.
  • Abstract acceptable to The Driving Force Group of Companies Driver and Vehicle Safety Program.
  • Experience in the automotive or rental industry is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Strong computer skills and you know your way around Microsoft Office.
  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task with keen attention to detail.
  • Clear pre-employment security clearance.
