Position: Red Seal 309A Construction & Maintenance Electrician

Salary: $38-$48/hr

Location: Ottawa, ON

Job Description:

As a Red Seal 309A Electrician at Lumos Electric Inc., you will play a crucial role in our mission to provide exceptional electrical services to our valued clients. You will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating with a team of skilled professionals to complete a wide range of electrical projects. From residential installations to commercial upgrades, your expertise will shine as you tackle new and exciting challenges daily.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance according to relevant codes and regulations

    -Collaborate with team members to plan and execute electrical projects efficiently
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, recommending appropriate solutions
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries professionally

  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports, records, and project updates

  • Provide close mentorship and training for apprentices of various levels

Qualifications:

  • Red Seal 309A Electrician certification is required
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, components, and wiring methods
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial electrical installations
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a tight-knit team
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
