Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with the ability to create an inviting atmosphere for our guests. This role requires proficiency in various POS systems, including Aloha and Micros, as well as strong time management skills to efficiently serve patrons in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including proper food handling and safety practices.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to support banquet events and catering services when necessary.
  • Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure availability.
  • Uphold all health and safety regulations within the food service industry, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Utilize basic math skills for accurate order processing and tabulation of bills.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a bartending role within fine dining or nightclub settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in customer service within the food industry or retail environments is essential.
  • Experience in brewing, serving, or catering will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to manage time effectively while multitasking in a busy environment is crucial for success in this role.
