Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tractor Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in operating various types of farm machinery. This role involves the operation of tractors and other heavy equipment for snow removal ensuring efficient and safe completion of daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractors and other heavy equipment for various snow removal.
  • Perform routine maintenance on tractor ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and adjustments.
  • Have own vehicle to reach tractor to start route in Kanata area.
  • Must be able to work thru the night following a route until finished.
  • To perform snow removal
  • Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

  • Proven experience operating heavy equipment, specifically tractors in an snow removal setting
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on machinery.
  • Familiarity with snow removal practices is preferred.
  • Experience with snow removal is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate power tools safely.
