About Chatters
At Chatters, we are transforming how Canadians experience beauty — blending in-salon expertise, retail convenience, and ecommerce innovation. As we grow, we are evolving our supply chain to deliver faster, smarter, and more efficiently for our customers and partners across the country.

Position Summary
The Director, Distribution is a key leadership role responsible for driving the strategy, optimization, and execution of Chatters' national distribution and fulfillment network, encompassing both our Red Deer Distribution Centre and E-commerce distribution through ship-from-store and third-party models in Eastern Canada.
This individual will lead day-to-day operations while also shaping the future state of Chatters' fulfillment network — building the capacity, technology, and processes needed to scale efficiently and support long-term growth.
A strong background in eCommerce distribution and omni-channel fulfillment is essential, along with the ability to design and implement strategies that optimize cost, speed, and service for our growing digital business.

What You Will Do
Operational Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end operations across our Red Deer Distribution Centre and Eastern eCommerce fulfillment network.
  • Ensure daily execution meets service level, accuracy, safety, and productivity standards.
  • Oversee all inventory management, fulfillment, shipping, and returns processes.
  • Establish and manage KPIs such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, on-time delivery, and cost-to-serve.
  • Champion operational excellence through lean methodologies, automation, and continuous improvement.
E-Commerce & Network Optimization
  • Assess and design Chatters' long-term eCommerce fulfillment strategy, including network structure, ship-from-store models, and third-party logistics partnerships.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap to optimize distribution in Eastern Canada, enabling faster delivery and improved customer experience.
  • Identify automation and technology opportunities to improve scalability and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with E-commerce, IT, and Merchandising teams to ensure alignment between customer demand, inventory strategy, and fulfillment execution.
Strategic Growth & Scalability
  • Create and execute a multi-year distribution network strategy supporting retail, salon, and eCommerce expansion.
  • Evaluate current and future facility capacity, technology requirements, and geographic positioning.
  • Partner with senior leadership to align distribution investments with business growth priorities.
  • Lead initiatives to reduce freight costs, improve delivery efficiency, and enhance service-level performance.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Lead and develop the distribution leadership team, fostering accountability, engagement, and a strong safety culture.
  • Build alignment across Supply Chain, Merchandising, Retail Operations, and E-commerce teams.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to executives on network design, logistics performance, and emerging distribution opportunities.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in distribution, logistics, and supply chain management, including at least 3 years in a Director-level role.
  • Proven expertise in eCommerce and omni-channel fulfillment operations — including network design, last-mile optimization, and technology-driven distribution.
  • Demonstrated success in optimizing large-scale networks, reducing costs, and improving fulfillment performance.
  • Skilled in KPI development, process design, and automation strategy.
  • Deep understanding of WMS, ERP, and integrated fulfillment systems.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, balanced with hands-on operational leadership.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator who can build trust and drive alignment across functions.
  • Experience in retail, consumer goods, or high-volume distribution environments is preferred.
Why You Will Love Working with Us
