Position Overview

The Director, Microsoft Security leads the strategy, development, and advancement of solutions leveraging Microsoft's Security technologies. This role is pivotal in driving transformation for customers, shaping methodologies, developing best practices, and ensuring the successful adoption and integration of Microsoft Security offerings. The Director will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Solutions, Marketing, and Engineering to deliver innovative solutions and business outcomes.

• Drive the modernization and secure transformation of customer technology infrastructure using Microsoft Security technologies.

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive roadmap for security adoption, tailored to each customer's unique needs.

• Position the organization as a go-to partner for Microsoft-led innovation and transformation.

What you'll do:

Strategy & Practice Leadership


• Develop and execute the strategy for Microsoft Security, aligning with organizational goals and market trends.

• Lead the team through the creation and execution of offerings and enablement plans for security solutions.

• Be accountable for the financial performance, growth strategy, and operational excellence of the Security practice.

• Oversee continuous improvement programs to empower users and maintain engagement.

• Bring thought leadership on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve offerings.

Solution Development & Innovation


• Coordinate the development, documentation, and improvement of methodologies and best practices for Microsoft Security solutions.

• Support the creation and evolution of solution offerings, acting as "Customer Zero" for new technologies.

• Provide technical leadership for strategic opportunities.

• Ensure consistency and quality across all initiatives, collaborating with architects, engineers, and product managers.

Team Leadership & Enablement


• Manage a team of professionals, setting priorities and overseeing workstreams.

• Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and inclusion.

• Conduct personal development planning for team members, supporting career growth and alignment to organizational goals.

• Champion internal enablement and cross-functional collaboration.

Customer & Partner Engagement


• Build and nurture relationships with key customers and partners, acting as a trusted advisor for their security transformation journeys.

• Collaborate with Microsoft and partner organizations to co-create solutions and drive joint success.

Compliance, Governance & Risk Management


• Ensure compliance with Microsoft partnership obligations and manage risk where appropriate.

What you'll bring to the table:


• At least 10 years' experience in technology professional services, with a focus on Microsoft Security.

• Experience working with the Microsoft Partner ecosystem for co-selling and joint GTM efforts

• Proven experience coaching and developing direct reports and managing diverse teams.

• Strong understanding of cloud and data best practices, including governance, architecture, and operations.

• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional collaboration and drive performance.

• Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making.

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Travel Requirements
There is an expectation of up to 25% travel in this role.
