Purpose of Role:
As Technical Sales Support your role is responsible for providing technical assistance to the outside sales team and customers within the SupremeServ processes. This role involves understanding customer needs and providing technical expertise. The role will work closely with the sales team to provide customers with exceptional solutions for their pump needs.
Major responsibilities:
Manage incoming inquiries for the spare parts business by providing formal quotations promptly, adhering to the department's current processes and pricing structure.
Provide formal quotations for replacement pumps and collaborate with both service centers to ensure new pump quotes are included in service proposals.
Supporting the outside sales team to identify sales opportunities
Review and interpret technical drawings, datasheets, and specifications to ensure accurate proposals.
Work with global suppliers to obtain pricing and delivery for aftermarket inquiries.
Provide aftermarket technical sales support as needed.
Collaborate with the inside support team to ensure customer delivery needs are met.
Requirements for the role:
University degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
Ability to read technical drawings and BOM's
Fluent in English and French
Strong communication skills
Desirable but not essential:
Knowledge of SAP
Knowledge of rotational equipment
