Quality Support Supervisor

Are you passionate about raising the bar for service quality and safety? Do you thrive on making sure people, processes, and outcomes meet the highest possible standards? If this sounds like you, the role of Quality Support Supervisor (QSS) might be your next career move.
As a Quality Support Supervisor, you'll have your finger on the pulse of what keeps great organizations running: compliance, quality assurance, health and safety, and respect for every person we support. Your work sets the tone for continuous improvement and a culture where everyone feels protected, empowered, and valued. This isn't just another supervisory role—it's a chance to impact lives by ensuring excellence in every part of the services we deliver.
About Us:
CLGW is a progressive, person-centred organization committed to promoting inclusion, dignity, and independence for people with developmental disabilities. Our strategic priority of Service Excellence means we strive to continuously improve and deliver high-quality, individualized support for every person we serve.
At CLGW, we take pride in the work that we do. You will be joining a team of dedicated and experienced professionals, who truly make a difference in the lives of others. Together, we provide support for over 900 people who have a developmental disability, and who live, work and play in Guelph and Wellington County.
Why Join Us?
- Be at the heart of a mission-driven organization making a real difference.
- Work directly with inspiring leaders who value your input and expertise.
- Tackle diverse, challenging projects that will keep you growing.
- Collaborative, supportive, and respectful organizational culture.
What You'll Do:
In this role, you'll act as both a champion and guardian of our standards. You'll oversee compliance, lead audit processes, and make sure that every detail of the Individual Support Plan (ISP) reflects our commitment to quality. From leading medication safety reviews and health & safety inspections, to collaborating with teams across the organization and in the community, the QSS brings everyone together for one goal: service excellence.
Data will become your ally—you'll work with our Quality and Decision Support Specialist to unpack audit findings and turn them into actionable improvements. All the while, you'll model a person-centred approach that puts the needs and preferences of the people we support first, every time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance, quality assurance, and audit processes to drive service excellence
- Monitor and review Individual Support Plans (ISP) to maintain high standards of quality assurance
- Lead and audit medication processes to ensure accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance
- Conduct regular health and safety inspections and follow up on actions needed
- Coordinate with supervisors, departments, and community partners to ensure timely collaboration and ongoing improvement
- Analyze data and audit findings with the Quality and Decision Support Specialist to identify trends and opportunities for better service
- Promote and embody a person-centred, best-practices approach in everything you do
What We're Looking For:
- Post-secondary degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a unionized environment (or a blend of education and applicable experience)
- Strong grasp of O.H.S.A., AODA, ESA, and SSPDDA requirements
- Proficiency using computers, databases, Microsoft Office, internet, and e-mail
- Impeccable organizational skills and a knack for process documentation
- A reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and up-to-date insurance (travel may be required between sites)
If you're motivated by accountability, inspired by safety, and excited about continuous improvement, we want to hear from you.
Join us as a Quality Support Supervisor and help set the standard for exceptional, person-centred support. Apply today
