Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Administrative Assistant with Human Resources recruitment and reception experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk of our Seniors Nursing Home ensuring a welcoming environment for Residents and Visitors while providing exceptional administrative and HR support. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Monday- Friday
Position Responsibilities
Administrative Assistance - Reception
Greet visitors and assist with direction to the appropriate area
Managing incoming calls and setting auto attendant
Ordering supplies
Manage incoming and outgoing mail
Work closely with the administrative team
Participate in events
HR Assistance
For external applicants: working with the hiring manager contact candidates to schedule interviews
Assisting departmental manager and Inservice coordinator facilitating onboarding activities and orientation
Supporting new hires in orientation to the site
For internal applicants: posting positions per the union contracts. Awarding positions with the support of the departmental manager
Manage HR email inbox inquiries and follow-ups
Qualifications
Strong working knowledge of computer systems, Word, Excel, ADP, Outlook
Familiarity with Apple computer tools
2+ years of office experience (including recruitment)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
