The Gear Centre Group, a leading provider of powertrain parts and service for the automotive, heavy truck and off-highway equipment industries, is looking for a Parts/Person Inside Sales Representative for our Surrey, BC location.

The Parts Person/Inside Sales Representative is responsible for specifically sourcing, pricing, and negotiating with vendors on various materials and equipment, in addition to providing outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshooting and problem solving to determine customer needs
  • Sourcing and ordering parts
  • Shipping and receiving product
  • Follow all ISO 9001:2015 procedures

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of counter sales experience
  • Previous parts experience, retail sales, or customer service experience is preferred
  • Proficient in MS Office with the ability to learn other software programs as required

Skills and Abilities:

  • A strong mechanical aptitude is needed for this role
  • Strong customer service focus with an ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment

Other Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable abstract needed as some driving may be required using a company half-ton truck
