We are seeking an experienced
Mendix Developer
to join our team for a 12-month hybrid contract based in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have hands-on Mendix experience and a solid understanding of modern software development, integrations, and agile delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy web and mobile applications using the Mendix low-code platform
  • Collaborate with business teams to gather and translate requirements into responsive, scalable solutions
  • Integrate Mendix apps with databases, APIs, and external systems (REST/SOAP, connectors, Java actions)
  • Maintain and optimize existing applications to ensure performance, security, and reliability
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and release planning
  • Manage source code using Git and support CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
  • Stay current with Mendix updates, best practices, and potential AI/ML integrations

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing applications on the Mendix platform
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle
  • Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus
  • Experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
