What you'll do

  • Assist in menu planning to create enticing and nutritious meal options
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision and creativity
  • Ensure all food handling practices meet safety and sanitation standards
  • Serve meals with a focus on presentation and customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the dietary department to meet specific dietary needs
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas
  • Participate in catering events, bringing your culinary flair to special occasions
  • Utilize your knife skills for efficient meal preparation

Basic qualifications

  • Experience in the dietary department or as a dietary aide is preferred
  • Strong background in food service, including restaurant or kitchen experience
  • Familiarity with fine dining concepts and meal preparation techniques

Preferred qualifications

  • Culinary experience with a focus on food preparation and cooking
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience in catering services is a plus
