Dental Lab Technician

Oakridge Orthodontics in Vancouver is a well-established office specializing in orthodontic treatments. We are looking for a local dental technician to join our in-house lab. Must have dental technician license and work in office in Vancouver.

Experience is necessary and required. No International work sponsorship at this time.

A successful candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills, willingness to adapt changes, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment as a team player and independently.

YOUR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Design, Export, Save, and Print 3D models

· Prepare dental models for the fabrication of appliances

· Design and bend wire for fixed and removable orthodontic appliances Collaborate with team members in various departments

· Follow instructions to ensure completeness, accuracy, and quality standards

· Follow safety protocols and operating procedures

· Design & fabricate other dental appliances (clear aligners, retainers, etc.).

QUALIFICATIONS:

· CDT/RDT license preferred but not required

· Minimum 5 years of wire bending experience

· Knowledge of orthodontic appliances and functionality

· Ability to multitask and make quick decisions

· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to collaborate with team members in various departments

· Good hand-eye coordination

· Ability to manage time and meet deadlines

· Effective oral and interpersonal skills in a professional and effective manner

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
