In support of our continued growth and substantial investment in assets over the past several years, we are now seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic / Field Service Technician. The position will be based out of our 6000Sq Ft shop in Vars Ont.
The role will be split between field service and repair work at various site locations and in shop repairs and overhauls at the Vars shop.
The successful candidate will be offered a flexible Monday to Friday shift (Occasional evening and weekend work may be required) as well as a competitive salary and benefit package.
Job Summary
- Preform maintenance and repair of various types of construction equipment including Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Skid Steers, Telehandlers, Packers, Air compressors, Generators, Vehicles, and Trailers.
- Other general duties will be assigned as needed.
Knowledge & Requirements
- A journeymen certification as a Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) or Truck and Coach Technician (310T). Other certifications and licenses would be considered based on experience.
- Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy machinery and work in cramped or awkward position.
- Must have the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
- A valid driver's licence is required
