Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Teacher to inspire students of all ages through the transformative power of music. We are doing an open call for teachers with a focus in any instrument, (voice, piano, guitar, drums, etc.). Although not required, it is an additive if the teacher can play and teach multiple instruments. In this role, you will develop engaging lesson plans, foster a love for musical expression, and create a positive learning environment that nurtures fun, creativity and confidence Your enthusiasm for music and dedication to student growth will help cultivate a vibrant community of learners eager to explore their musical talents.

Duties

  • Teach music to students of all ages and skill levels, incorporating elements of technique, instrumental and or vocal performance and music theory.
  • Lead engaging classroom lessons that motivate students to develop their musical skills and appreciation for various genres.
  • Provide individual or group tutoring sessions to support students' progress and address specific learning needs.

Skills

  • Strong background in teaching and lesson planning with the ability to adapt lessons for different age groups and learning styles.
  • Proven experience in teaching music or related arts.
  • Excellent classroom management skills to foster a disciplined yet inspiring and joy-filled environment.
  • Experience working with children, early childhood education, preschool experience, or special education is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and colleagues while providing constructive feedback. Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
