Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Hair Stylist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair styling services while ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere for our clients. Your expertise in hair care, customer service, and retail sales will contribute to a positive experience for our customers and help drive the success of our salon.

Duties

  • Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cuts, colors, and treatments tailored to client preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and salon equipment to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and offer personalized recommendations for hair care products and services.
  • Upsell retail products and additional services to enhance the client experience while meeting sales goals.
  • Manage front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling transactions efficiently.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills by actively listening to clients and providing clear information about services offered.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling techniques and products to provide informed recommendations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices related to hair care services.
  • Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally.
  • Experience in retail sales is a plus, with an understanding of how to promote products effectively.
