Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Collections Specialist located in Toronto, ON. The Collections Specialist will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding customer accounts, communicating with debtors, negotiating payment terms, and ensuring timely cash collection. Day-to-day tasks include contacting customers, tracking and recording payment statuses, and resolving any customer service issues related to collections. The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills to maintain positive relationships with debtors while ensuring successful recovery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Debt Collection and Cash Collection
  • Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
  • Understanding of Finance principles
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with receivable management systems is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
