Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled, dependable, and compassionate Medical Radiation Technologist (MRT) with certification and experience in Ultrasound and X-Ray to support one of our healthcare partners during a maternity leave assignment in Cochrane, Ontario.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and accurate clinical results. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to work in a collaborative healthcare environment while making a direct impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general radiography and ultrasound examinations in accordance with professional standards and clinic protocols
- Ensure safe and appropriate operation of imaging equipment
- Assess patients' needs and explain procedures to promote comfort and cooperation
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Work closely with physicians and other healthcare team members to support diagnostic decisions
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of an accredited Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent
- Current registration and good standing with CMRITO (College of Medical Radiation & Imaging Technologists of Ontario)
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (within 1 year)
- 2-Step TB Test or Chest X-Ray (within 1 year)
- Immunization Records (including Varicella, MMR, TDap, Hep B, and others as per facility requirements)

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: $55.00-$58.00 per hour
