The Job: Job Processing Designer
As the Job Processing Designer, you will play a pivotal role in our operational success, with responsibilities that include:
- Interpreting customer requirements and developing designs to meet specifications.
- Utilizing SolidWorks to create parts and detailed drawing packages for manufacturing.
- Developing Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Epicor ERP and Flow MES.
- Preparing flat patterns for sheet laser cutting.
- Generating step files for structural laser cutting.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in design, preferably with SolidWorks.
- Proven ability to interpret customer requirements and develop detailed designs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with metal fabricating and manufacturing processes.
- Computer skills.
