Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector specialized in the Powder Coating Industry to ensure the highest standards of product quality and safety. This role involves rigorous inspection, data collection, and adherence to industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and CGMP. The ideal candidate will possess strong analysis skills, familiarity with precision measuring instruments, vision inspection systems, and quality management systems. Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough quality inspections of powder-coated products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
  • Utilize calibration tools like coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy against specifications.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections in accordance with established quality standards including ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations.
  • Document inspection results accurately through data collection systems and prepare detailed reports for management review.
  • Assist in conducting quality audits to ensure compliance with HACCP, CGMP, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and document non-conformances; collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Support quality assurance processes by participating in root cause analysis and process improvements.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of inspection areas while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Contribute to ongoing development of quality management systems by providing feedback on inspection procedures and standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within manufacturing environments, preferably in powder coating or related industries.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.
  • Proficiency with measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
  • Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret data accurately and identify deviations from specifications.
  • Experience conducting quality audits and participating in quality management system improvements.
  • Knowledge of calibration procedures for precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail while maintaining a focus on safety and compliance.
