We are currently seeking a sharp, efficient, and team-oriented Expo/Food Runner to ensure the flawless execution of our service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the vital communication link between the kitchen staff and the serving team.
  • Coordinate with the Chef and cooks to manage the timing and completion of orders.
  • Inspect every dish for accuracy, quality, and presentation before it leaves the kitchen.
  • Run food efficiently and accurately to the correct tables, describing dishes as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked expo line and service areas.
  • Monitor table numbers and assist servers in clearing and resetting tables for quick turnover.
  • Answer guest questions about menu items knowledgeably and help ensure any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Support the team by ensuring all guests receive their meals in a timely and hot manner.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • A flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a food runner, busser, or similar support role is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
