We are excited to welcome enthusiastic and dedicated Churrería Team Members to our new artisanal churrería in Downtown Toronto Opening mid-November 2025, you'll be part of a dynamic team delivering exceptional service and crafting delicious, freshly made churros and buñuelos for our guests. This role is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy sharing a unique culinary experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and fry churros, porras and buñuelos... according to our authentic recipes, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Operate a basic POS system to process customer orders accurately and handle cash transactions responsibly.
  • Provide warm, friendly customer service, engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen and service areas, adhering to Ontario food safety regulations (e.g., monthly extinguisher checks).
  • Assist with filling churros (e.g., Nutella, dulce de leche) to enhance the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage peak hours and ensure smooth operations, especially during the busy December season.

Experience

  • Previous food service experience is preferred but not required—we'll train you
  • Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus.
  • Strong time management and multitasking skills for a bustling churrería setting.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
  • A positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and willingness to learn are essential.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an asset to connect with our diverse community.
