We are seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented Gas Station Attendant to join our team. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with purchases, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a knack for upselling products, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with fuel purchases and other inquiries.
  • Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately.
  • Upsell products and services to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the gas station, including fueling areas, convenience store, and restrooms.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.
  • Provide technical assistance to customers regarding fuel types or equipment as necessary.
  • Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours.
  • Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in retail sales or technical sales is preferred but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
  • Ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • A friendly demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to foster positive customer interactions.
  • Personal mode of transportation is an asset though not a requirement.

This will be a graveyard position, scheduled 11pm to 7am.
