Lara MacInnis Design provides comprehensive residential architecture, interior design and construction management services.

The Position:

Lara MacInnis Design is seeking an Architectural Technologist who is thorough, detail oriented and self-motivated to join our team. The position is part time (approximately 25 hours/week) with an opportunity for a flexible schedule and some work from home.

You will be involved in developing and maintaining drawing sets for multiple projects; drawings will include client presentations and construction documents for trade coordination.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a high proficiency with Revit with an enthusiasm for residential architecture, interior design and construction.

The Location:

LMD is located in the Dupont Arts Building in downtown Toronto.

Computer Skills

  • Excellent proficiency in Revit
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of other programs a plus including Sketchup, Photoshop

Responsibilities

  • Developing project drawing sets from site measurements and schematic design through construction documents and construction administration
  • Maintaining and updating project drawings for internal review, client presentations and trade documentation

Education and Experience

  • 5+ years work experience in architecture, interior design or related design field
  • Undergraduate degree

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Toronto, ON M6H 1Z1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
