Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our kitchen team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality food in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills and contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • Serve food efficiently and courteously to customers, ensuring excellent service experience
  • Handle food with proper safety and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards
  • Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies
  • Follow all food handling regulations and safety protocols at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
  • Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management

Skills

  • Proven experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking within a restaurant or food service setting
  • Strong knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards in the food industry
  • Ability to perform meal preparation efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety regulations is preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Passion for the food industry with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
