Carlino is a Friulian-inspired, Michelin-recommended Italian restaurant located within the Hyatt. We're seeking a General Manager who leads with heart, inspires with purpose, and is dedicated to creating unforgettable dining experiences.

Drawing inspiration from the Friuli region of Northern Italy, our menu celebrates the harmony between Italy and British Columbia, from the mountains and forests to lakes and coastal waters, with a deep respect for seasonal ingredients and heartfelt hospitality.

Who You Are

You're a natural leader who thrives in the rhythm of a busy dining room, balancing operational excellence with genuine warmth. You lead by example - calm, kind, and confident - creating an environment where both guests and team members feel cared for.

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager
  • A deep passion for hospitality and a guest-first mindset
  • A strong ability to mentor, motivate, and grow teams
  • Proven success with labour and cost control, inventory, and payroll management
  • Hotel experience (an asset)
  • Current Serving It Right, Foodsafe Level 1, and First Aid certifications
