The Role: Director of Sales Operations
The Director of Sales Operations is the strategic force that drives the efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability of their entire sales ecosystem. You will bridge the gap between high-level sales strategy and day-to-day execution, ensuring their internal teams, mobile units, and external partners are empowered to succeed. This role is critical to achieving their market expansion goals and requires a leader who can think strategically, act operationally, and leverage data to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Enablement
Architect and implement scalable sales processes, performance management frameworks, and incentive programs that drive revenue growth across all channels.
Champion the development and adoption of sales enablement tools (CRM, CPQ, etc.) and dynamic performance dashboards that provide real-time insights.
Partner with Marketing, Product, and IT to ensure sales strategies are perfectly aligned with go-to-market campaigns, inventory availability, and digital platform capabilities.
Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on increasing customer lifetime value and accelerating partner network expansion.
Partner Network Growth & Management
Design and build a world-class partner onboarding, training, and ongoing support model to ensure rapid time-to-value and brand alignment.
Establish and manage clear SLAs, performance scorecards, and feedback loops to foster a high-performing and collaborative partner ecosystem.
Act as the key strategic liaison for our most critical partners, collaborating to identify and execute on mutual growth opportunities.
Operational Excellence in Fulfilment
Provide strategic oversight of national distribution and fulfilment operations to maximize on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to optimize inventory flow, reduce fulfilment bottlenecks, and enhance last-mile delivery performance.
Implement and monitor KPIs for warehousing and reverse logistics, driving a culture of continuous improvement.
Data-Driven Leadership & Strategic Planning
Provide the CEO and Board with data-driven insights and recommendations on sales performance, operational efficiency, and market opportunities.
Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and own the sales operations component of the annual strategic planning cycle.
Monitor industry trends and competitive benchmarks to inform and influence the company's strategic direction.
What You Bring (Qualifications & Experience)
10+ years of progressive leadership experience in sales operations, channel management, or fulfilment, within a complex omnichannel retail, ecommerce, or logistics environment.
