Job Summary:

As a
Configuration Methods Agent
, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the transformation from the engineering Bill of Materials (BOM) to the manufacturing BOM, managing change processes, and analyzing data to improve processes during the assembly of our flight simulators for both civil and military aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for transforming engineering BOMs into manufacturing BOMs.
  • Create, update, and maintain BOMs for various simulation products.
  • Ensure that all BOMs are complete and include all necessary components and materials.
  • Manage changes and updates to BOMs, work instructions, and routings through an established change control process.
  • Serve as the PLM administrator for all manufacturing-related items.
  • Define best practices for BOM configuration tools in manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure BOM accuracy.
  • Analyze BOM data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Train team members on processes and best practices related to BOM management.
  • Be proactive and contribute to the transition toward
    Industry 4.0
    in our manufacturing processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • College diploma in engineering, design, or a related field.
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    in BOM management.
  • Must comply with
    Controlled Goods Program
    requirements and ideally have knowledge of
    ITAR
    regulations.
  • Technically minded individual (preferably with a design background) capable of visualizing and breaking down assemblies and parts to define proper manufacturing steps.
  • Proficiency in
    Windchill PLM tools
    and modules:
    BOM Transformer, MPMLink, PLM Configurator.
  • Proficiency in
    ERP systems
    and
    routing management (Oracle).
  • Comfortable working in a distributed work environment—both remotely and onsite as needed.
  • Bilingual (French and English)
    required.
