The Mahle House is one of Mid Vancouver Island's top dining destinations. We are seeking an experienced and skilled cook who can successfully navigate any area of a kitchen . Suitable candidate will have experience preparing and cooking vegetables, seafood and meats. Knowledge of sautéing, grilling, deep frying, minor butchery and baking are desired. This is not an entry level position - line cooking experience and extensive food knowledge is required.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of a team that values your ideas and your passion. Here you will have an opportunity to participate in all areas of our kitchen. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and ideas in helping create specials and menu items for our very popular 'adventurous wednesday' program.

We operate Wed-Sun. Shift start typically early afternoon until cleanup is complete. Our last reservations are at 7:30 so we are not a late night operation.
