Everything we do is rooted in our core values: Encourage Trust, Have Fun, Show Kindness, Lead With Purpose, and Commit to Excellence.

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing Team on a 6-month contract. This is a hands-on, entry-level role that's perfect for someone eager to grow their marketing skills in a fast-paced, creative, and collaborative environment.

In this role, you'll take ownership of social media content creation for The Adventure Group (TAG) and support the wider Gibbons Marketing Team with scheduling, organization, and content coordination across our venues. If you love storytelling, thrive on creative teamwork, and have a passion for outdoor adventure and hospitality — this one's for you.

Wage and Perks of the Job

  • $50,000 - $65,000 annual salary based on experience
  • 50% off food & beverage at all Gibbons venues
  • Adventure perks: 20% off The Adventure Group for you and your friends & family
  • Accommodation discounts: 20% off at The Adara Hotel and Gibbons Life Condos
  • Wellness perks: 20% off at The Spa at Whistler and wellness benefit stipend
  • Exclusive partner discounts at local Whistler businesses
  • Flexible schedules and a supportive team culture
  • Access to community events and staff appreciation nights
  • Growth opportunities in Whistler's most dynamic hospitality group – we're passionate about promoting from within and supporting your career journey.
  • Immersive work environment steps from the mountains – we take our core purpose of "Have Fun" very seriously.

What You Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing, communications, or social media coordination.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Understanding of social media best practices and trends.
  • Experience with Hootsuite, CapCut, Canva, and Meta Business Suite (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for Whistler's lifestyle, outdoor adventure, and connecting with people

What You'll Do

Social Media Management (The Adventure Group)

  • Create engaging, on-brand photo and video content that showcases TAG's outdoor experiences — from ziplining and aerial courses to snowmobiling and Vallea Lumina.
  • Write captions, schedule posts, and manage community engagement through comments, DMs, and tagged content.
  • Support campaign and content calendar planning to align with promotions and seasonal initiatives.
  • Track performance analytics and compile monthly reports on reach and engagement.
  • Attend select experiences or events to capture real-time content.

Gibbons Social Media & Administrative Support

  • Support content scheduling and posting across Gibbons brands including Longhorn, Tapley's, Bills, Garfinkel's, Moe Joe's, Après Après, and Gibbons Whistler.
  • Upload and organize approved content into shared drives and content libraries.
  • Maintain posting calendars across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and ensure content aligns with campaigns.
  • Support influencer tracking, post monitoring, and deliverable management.
  • Respond to messages, comments, and tags to keep engagement timely and authentic.
  • Coordinate cross-promotional posts between venues, partners, and community events.

General Marketing & Team Support

  • Assist in writing and proofreading copy for posts, newsletters, and other marketing materials.
  • Help coordinate internal communications and campaign updates.
  • Support on-site at photo/video shoots, community activations, and events.
  • Manage administrative tasks such as updating Asana boards, tracking expenses, and preparing KPI summaries.
  • Contribute ideas to enhance brand storytelling, social strategy, and guest engagement.
