Role Description

This is a temporary on-site role for a Store Leader at maurices, located in Ottawa, ON. The Store Leader will be responsible for inspiring and leading a team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Key responsibilities include managing operations, implementing visual presentations, coaching and developing team members, and fostering a positive and collaborative store environment. The Store Leader will also be involved in setting performance objectives, ensuring compliance with company policies, and driving overall store performance during the specified time period.

Qualifications

  • Leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate staff
  • Strong knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and visual merchandising
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals while maintaining a customer-focused environment
  • Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced retail environment and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with scheduling, staff training, and performance evaluations
  • Prior retail or management experience is highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business or related fields is a plus
