Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality coffee and food items. This role requires a passion for the food and beverage industry, strong multitasking skills, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for all guests. The Barista will be responsible for crafting beverages, managing POS transactions, and maintaining cleanliness standards to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and consistency.
  • Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling.
  • Manage customer orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
  • Handle food safety protocols, including proper food handling and food preparation techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the café, including cleaning equipment, counters, and seating areas.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Engage with customers in a friendly manner to promote sales and enhance their experience.
  • Follow food safety standards and health regulations at all times.
  • Manage cash register operations accurately, including basic math for transactions and retail math for sales tracking.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and café operations.
  • Experience using POS systems such as CLOVER is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, serving procedures, and cash handling best practices.
