Grocery Sales Representative

This is an exciting time for our brewery With over 1,600 points of distribution (liquor stores and food service) across BC, we are venturing boldly into the grocery retail space. The Grocery Sales Representative will act as the primary driver for our Dry Goods and Non-Alc expansion, tasked with securing new listings and growing distribution in small-to-medium grocery chains and independent retailers. While the primary focus is that of a "hunter" and closer, this role ensures long-term success for the business through hands-on merchandising, inventory forecasting, and strategic trade spend coordination.
You will build and support the first ~100 stores, establishing the standard before transitioning these accounts to our in-house liquor reps' weekly routes. This position is supported by an inside sales team to process incoming orders, allowing you to focus on growth.

Accountable for: Driving sales growth by maintaining relationships with wholesale accounts and acquiring new accounts
- Creating a great experience for our external customers. Working with other areas to drive this.
- Developing sales strategies - identifying and creating new partnerships with businesses to grow distribution points.
- Conducting tastings and making knowledgeable recommendations.
- Collaborating on Growth Strategy and allocation of resources.
- Support in optimizing Sales Processes and Tools.
Accountable for: Actively selling our beer and craft cocktails to current accounts
- Driving external package and draught sales revenue.
- Support order desk and distribution to optimize efficiencies.
- Recording all account activity in company CRM
- Awareness of distribution costs.
- Build and maintain a journey plan to meet call rate objectives
Accountable for: Communicating internally with Sales Team
- Communicating with Sales team to meet weekly / monthly / annual sales targets.
- Working with Senior Leadership to meet Sales Targets and Stretch Goals.
- Sales Support - processing orders, being involved in external event organization.
- Reporting on weekly sales, making suggestions to ensure targets are achieved and actioned.
- Reviewing Forecasts and collaborating on annual sales planning.
- Representing Field House at on and offsite marketing events.
Work arrangement: Offsite work week
- 5 days on the road connecting with accounts, with Sales / Admin integrated into each day. 40 visits a week and internal meetings in person required
- Covering Vancouver & the Fraser Valley
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

+ Proficient communication skills
+ Sales experience of min. 2 years
+ Enthusiastic about working with great people, great food, and great beer
