Marketing Manager

Our client in the online gaming sector is seeking a contract based Digital Marketing Manager responsible for driving growth across our digital portfolio.
The Marketing Manager will identify, evaluate, and deliver marketing initiatives that increase revenue and profitability while enhancing customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage marketing strategies, tactics, campaigns, and services to effectively promote consumer-facing online gaming services across all channels (online advertising, SEO/SEM, social media, CRM, owned assets, PR, experiential, promotions, etc.).
- Collaborate with the Analytics team to build segmented acquisition and customer value strategies.
- Lead end-to-end campaign execution including planning, concept development, delivery, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
- Execute campaigns using customer and promotional systems to ensure delivery of promotional objectives.
- Support forecasting and marketing budget planning, including tracking expenditures vs. budget.
- Own creative direction across in-house teams and external agencies while ensuring brand consistency.
- Monitor KPIs, industry trends, and customer behavior to recommend pivots or optimization opportunities.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience with a focus on direct-to-consumer growth, acquisition, CRM, email, social, and campaign execution.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategies, customer segmentation, and multi-channel promotional tactics.
- Ability to work within Agile or cross-functional product environments (Product Owner or agency experience is an asset).
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complexity and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating across disciplines including product, technology, creative, promotions, PR, merchandising, and analytics.
- Proven track record developing creative assets and campaign briefs and working with internal creative teams or external agencies.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to evaluate KPIs, identify optimization opportunities, and drive performance improvements.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems independently, and execute with pace and precision.
