About The Role
We're seeking a
hands-on Working Site Superintendent
to lead
interior renovation and fit-up projects
across the GTA and East Toronto. This role is ideal for a superintendent who enjoys being active on the tools, leading by example, and maintaining tight control over quality, schedule, and safety on-site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day site operations for ICI interior renovation and fit-up projects ranging from $500K–$5M
  • Lead and work alongside trades on-site — this is a working superintendent role
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, clients, and consultants to maintain project schedules and resolve site issues
  • Enforce health & safety policies and ensure all work meets code and quality standards
  • Manage site documentation, daily reports, and subcontractor coordination
  • Plan and sequence work efficiently to meet deadlines and minimize downtime
  • Support project closeout including deficiencies and turnover

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent or Lead Carpenter in ICI construction
  • Proven track record managing commercial, office, and retail fit-ups or interior renovation projects
  • Hands-on trade background (carpentry or general construction)
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with a practical, proactive approach
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to sites across the GTA and East Toronto
