The Big Picture

Production Team Members assemble, inspect, label, and/or package medical devices according to the approved manufacturing protocols.

Impact Through Innovation

  • Manually assemble parts on an assembly line by following written instructions (protocol)
  • Operate equipment as per standard operating procedures
  • Operate semi-automatic or other testing equipment to ensure product quality
  • Check products at different stages of production using magnifiers or microscope for visual defects
  • Identify acceptable and sort defective products
  • Collect, record and summarize inspection results
  • Assemble boxes using tape and measuring tools
  • Label products, document job completion and status
  • Wear required PPE and adhere to strict dress code and gowning procedures
  • Adhere to and promote the adherence to all Corporate, Quality and Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Other duties as required

Your Unique Expertise

Required Skills:
  • Secondary school education or equivalent
  • Ability to lift 10-20 pounds with regularity
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to identify visual defects
  • Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle and manufacture small and delicate parts
  • Competency and understanding of the English language (oral, reading and writing skills)
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills and ability to work with a team
Asset skills:
  • Manufacturing work experience
  • Operating mold press or manual soldering experience
